Technicolour Teacup

I want to join a roller derby team, but there isn’t really one near enough to me.

And I don’t have the confidence to start one up myself. Partially cos I can’t actually skate - I know a lot of women go into roller derby not knowing how to skate beforehand, but surely if someone’s trying to start a team up then THEY should know how to skate… right?

I’ve been wanting to get involved in this for nearly two years, I’m sick of sitting and secretly hoping someone will start something up.

What’s a girl to do? I am fully aware that it’s mainly my own lack of confidence holding me back, but any tips/advice would be much appreciated :)
