Transgender woman arrested for wearing sheer top, jailed with men.
Ashley Del Valle is a transgender woman from New York who was arrested in Georgia for indecent exposure after she allegedly showed her breasts, but then was housed in an all-male jail.I just.
You arrest her because her top is too sheer and shows her nipples, something that is only a crime for women.
And then you jail her as a man.
Fucking fuck.

We’re a fan blog so we’re obviously not going to try and spread negative messages about Kate.
Calling out problematic statements made by Kate (or even just bringing them up) isn’t to pick on her or to turn people against her; it’s to tell her fans ‘look, she’s a human! she says stuff that could…
I have to say, I really like that you’re not afraid to bring up any problematic statements - I don’t know Kate but, from her blog and twitter posts, I don’t imagine she’d have a problem with it either. It’s done politely and respectfully and I think as feminists (or, y’know, just decent people in general!) we can always learn from each other - pointing out when and how something is problematic allows us all to do that.
